About Us

Char opened Southern Grace Mercantile in Knoxville, TN in January of 2014. Being a small business owner is a labor of love, sweat and tears. Char is also a high school Chemistry Teacher in Anderson County TN. 

On Nov. 1st, 2023. I came to the shop early to ship a pallet of stuff to Arizona, before I flew out to Utah for a Pinners Conference. The store was on fire and was a total loss. A lot was going on in my life as my mom was placed on hospice and living her final days at my house. After much consideration, I decided I would not reopen a Brick and Mortar and I would concentrate on Pinners Conferences, Craft Retreats, Christmas in July Retreats, and online sales.
